We understand that choosing somewhere to stay can be difficult, but rest assured we are here to answer any of your questions and will do our best to make sure you have the most enjoyable stay possible.

If you cannot find an answer to a question you may have in this section, just send us an email and we get back to you as soon as possible.

What time can we check in at?

  • Feel free to Check in from 4pm - 9pm, But, please let us know if you’re delayed beyond 9pm, so that we can ensure someone is there to check you in.

  • Check out is at 10am. We would like you to have the morning to take your last walk on the prom, but after 10am we’ll need to prepare the house for our next guests.

How much is the cleaning fee?

The cleaning fee is €80 regardless of length of stay or amount of rooms used.

Is electricity and heating included in the price?


No, Electricity and Oil meters are in place and readings will be taken on arrival and once again on departure. Payment must be paid before checking out. We do allocate up to €25 of free usage per stay and anything above €25 is subject to the following rates.

>Electricity is charged at .30c per unit used

>Oil/kerosene is charged at €1 per unit used

Do you accept children at Ceol Na Mara?

Unfortunately, given the setup of the house (no childproofing) Ceol Na Mara is unsuitable for toddlers and young children. We are always delighted to accept bookings with Children from 8 years of age upwards.

Can I have a party or event at Ceol Na Mara?

No, we do not allow any parties or events to be held at Ceol Na Mara. Our wonderful neighbours are our number one priority and we ask that you respect them by avoiding making excessive noise during your stay.

Can we bring our pets?

Sorry but we do not allow pets of any kind at Ceol Na Mara.

Is there beach/outdoor accessories available at the house?

Yes, we provide beach towels and a cooler bag filled with reusable cups and plates so you can enjoy a snack on the beach or a picnic on a nearby mountain top. We can provide wellington boots on request if needed.

What happens if we break something while staying?

We understand accidents happen, and we don’t usually charge for them. But if we feel there’s been wanton carelessness, we reserve the right to charge for repair or replacement. We would always ask that you contact us straight away to inform us of any breakages, we can then make a decision if we need them to be retained until check out (to calculate a repair/replacement cost) or simply discarded.

Can I smoke at Ceol Na Mara?

No, smoking is not permitted in or around the house. You may smoke on the grounds of the development, but please do not leave cigarette stubs on the property or on the grounds of the development.

Is there parking available?

Yes, We have outside parking for guests, and additional parking is available if required. Cars are parked here at their owner’s risk.

Lost Property

Any lost property, if discovered and found, will be held for a period of at least 1 month. We are happy to post lost items via recorded delivery at your own cost, or can put items aside for collection on a subsequent visit

Missing items

We have taken great care in designing Ceol Na Mara for everyone to enjoy, and this includes adding some decorative and useful items that guests all enjoy. If any of these items go missing during your stay, we reserve the right to charge for the items missing.
